Interactive field trips for schools and groups are offered throughout the year at the Paleo Preserve. They include an educational presentation for participants using museum-quality fossils and a "hands-on" dig experience. Structured to blend with curriculum in science and research, Paleo Preserve
field trips are designed to create excitement for scientific exploration
through personal discovery. Students work in a fossil-rich surface grid
under the guidance of Preserve staff discovering, collecting and identifying actual fossil specimens.
Our very reasonable fees start as low as $10 per student, based on a class size of 40 students. Pictured is Frank Garcia, Director of Education, and students during program. |
